The match is a must-win for Colin Calderwood's side after their recent improvement was rendered vurtually useless by Saturday's second-half display against Norwich City, when the 10-man Canaries went off with three vital points.

Rovers have also turned something of a corner in recent weeks, beating Ipswich Town at the Keepmoat Stadium and then holding high-fliers Burnley to a goalless draw.

"We kept possession of the ball well and competed well against arguably the form team of the league, but we just missed that killer touch," said manager Sean O'Driscoll afterwards.

Goals have been a huge problem for the South Yorkshire club this season with only 8 coming from 18 league games.
