All quiet on the Forest transfer front

Colin Calderwood looks to have done the bulk of his summer shopping with the captures of Robert Earnshaw, Andy Cole, Guy Moussi and Paul Anderson although he said recently that further signings may be on the cards.

"We are getting there but we knew we would," he told the club website after completing the deal for Cole.

"The important thing is that we are getting the people we wanted.

"We are in a nice situation. We had a good finish to last season and we're in something new and exciting to us all and we've got ambition to be one step further up the footballing ladder."
