Swansea City - manager Robert Martinez wants his side to wrap promotion up quickly after Monday night's defeat by MK Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

"We need to show our character now and bounce back from this disappointment in the league," said the Spaniard, whose side are 14 points clear of the pack.

Crewe Alexandra - have denied that Liverpool want to pay £1m for a 14-year-old from their academy. Coach Steve Holland told BBC Radio Stoke: "There's been no official contact, it is all just speculation.

"We've become used to this sort of thing. The time for us to worry would be when big clubs aren't interested."

Leeds United - manager Gary McAllister knows his side need to improve quickly to revive their promotion hopes. "We've got 13 games left now, and we need points," he said. "Dropping points at home is not going to get us where we want to be.

Walsall - have taken former Aston Villa striker Stefan Moore on trial after his release by QPR.

Millwall - striker Bas Savage has signed for the Lions on a short-term deal. Neil Harris meanwhile has been told he will not get a new contract in the summer.
