Barlow hints at permanent Forest role

Forest are unbeaten under the temporary care of Barlow and McParland, who took over after Gary Megson's departure from the City Ground.

"I've got to say it helps massively having Charlie (McParland)," said Barlow.

"You might think it's difficult, but it isn't because 99% of the time you think the same - there's only one per cent when you don't and you have to give and take.

"If you spoke to him, he's got good knowledge of the game - he's an enthusiastic coach, he's got good strength of character and he's honest.

"I think Charlie will gain a lot from the experience. He's a young man.

"I would think he'd want to become a manager and you can see from what he's done that he will become one."
