Barnsley Aim To Build On Terriers Triumph

David Flitcroft's side finished last season strongly but began the new campaign with just one point from four games while suffering heavy defeats against Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Southampton in the League Cup.

They bounced back, however, by beating Huddersfield at Oakwell last time out and Flitcroft will have further options to choose from against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Experienced defender Lewin Nyatanga and Martin Cranie are both available again after injury.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended in a goalless draw at the City Ground in April as the Tykes fought a successful rearguard action in their fight against relegation.
