Forest had arranged a private game with Mansfield Town to assist the rehabiltation of their injured stars Dexter Blackstock and Paul Anderson but Blackstock had to pull out after his partner went into labour. He left the training ground and was able to be at the birth of his daughter Sureya.

Anderson who has only played twice this season opened the scoring for the Reds and played for an hour. He was pleased to be playing again after the frustrations of this season.

He was also happy to be back training with the squad and to be involved in a game. He now wants to build up his fitness and be challenging for a first team spot in the weeks ahead.
