"I think we've shown the fans that there is something to be encouraged about more than our points total would suggest," he said after the 2-1 defeat by Leeds United.
"We were very aware of the need to get our first win of the season and it looked as though it might come today.
"We've got to go and reproduce that level of intensity and stay together - although I don't have any worries on that front."
