Cardiff look to turn draws into wins

A New Year's Eve clash in the Championship brings together a Nottingham Forest side without a goal in six games and currently in the relegation zone and a Cardiff team who have been up with the pacesetters for much of the campaign.

The Welsh side however were beaten at home by Middlesbrough before scraping a draw at Watford on Boxing Day and defender Ben Turner knows that an improvement is needed with the top two sides in the division, Southampton and West Ham, both looking strong.

"We are going to have to raise our levels if we are going to be where we want to be in this division," he told the Western Mail.

"We do need to start winning because we are drawing too many."

The fixture is a quick rematch for the two sides, who met in Cardiff at the end of November when a single goal was enough for the home team to take all three points.
