Crewe midfielder surprised at Forest plight

Crewe host Forest on Saturday and go into the game without a win in their last 13 since the sale of striker Dean Ashton.

However there has been an improvement recently with vital draws at West Ham and Cardiff.

Sorvel said ahead of the game: "It is surprising to see Forest down there, but there are other big clubs such as Coventry and Leicester as well battling against relegation.

"Man City went down one season, so Forest aren't too big a club to go down I don't suppose.

"Forest will be a big game, similar to the Cardiff match. We've got to go into it realising, while we obviously need the three points, it is one we cannot afford to lose."
