Forest get set for battle at the bottom

Last updated : 13 December 2011 By Forest

Only goal difference separates the two sides who currently lie either side of the relegation line and who have both made managerial changes this season, Derek McInnes coming in at Ashton Gate after Keith Millen's departure.

The similarities do not stop there with heavy losses of £10m+ being reported by both clubs in recent weeks.

Against that backdrop the prospect of relegation to League One is a nightmare scenario and both McInnes and Steve Cotterill will be dsperate for a pre-Christmas present of three points.

City have struggled at home this season, losing 6 of their 10 matches and scoring just 9 goals in the process.

Forest have also had the better of meetings between the two sides in Bristol, winning 14 and drawing 14 of the 37 games played to date.
