Forest new-boy reveals Leeds snub

"I agreed personal terms with Leeds and had a medical but something didn't feel quite right so I decided against joining them," said the former Notts County defender after completing his £300,000 move from Preston.

"It is flattering to have clubs chasing you, but there was no question of which club I would be joining once Forest came in for me.

"I used to watch Forest regularly as a kid but I've never played at the City Ground before.

"So this is the realisation of an ambition and I can't wait to get started."
