Forest Still Busy In The Transfer Market

Last updated : 20 July 2013 By Forest

Having seen his attempts to bring Wes Morgan back to the City Ground foiled by Leicester City, boss billy Davies has turned his defensive attentions to another ex-Forest man in the shape of Celtic's Kelvin Wilson.

Davies landed a centre-half during the week when sealing a deal for Jack Hobbs of Hull City.

Queens Park Rangers' forward Jamie Mackie, a key man for the R's when they were promoted from the Championship under Neil Warnock, is being linked by reports in West London while Davies is also being credited with an interest in Mansfield winger Sam Clucas.

Further afield, Egyptian sensation Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' has said that interest in him from the Reds is 'much better' than a potential move to French club Nice.
