Peter Whittingham looks set to stay at Ninian Park
"Peter Whittingham has verbally agreed a new three year deal," said chairman Peter Ridsdale, who turned down a £1m bid for the winger from Nottingham Forest earlier in the summer.
"We'll now put that into a contract and he'll sign in next few days."
