Huddersfield Boss Aims For Late Consistency

A 2-1 victory for Huddersfield moved them to 12 points clear of the Championship relegation zone ahead of their trip to Nottingham Forest this coming weekend.

The Terriers have endured an up-and-down campaign and have struggled away from home with just four victories on the road.

"With five games to go, it’s given us a bit of breathing space, but we want to push on, make sure we are mathematically certain of staying up and try to get as many points as we can,” said Powell after the Ipswich game.

"This performance showed what we are capable of, but I know we have to play like this more often."

Two former Nottingham Forest players scored for Huddersfield in the reverse fixture at the beginning of November as Joel Lynch and Grant Holt netted.

Holt's loan spell has since ended but another ex-Red, Ishmael Miller has scored three goals for the Terriers since moving from Blackpool at the end of January.
