Improving Forest Meet Resurgent Leeds

Last updated : 22 December 2015 By Forest

The demands of television mean both Nottingham Forest and Leeds United supporters go without their traditional Boxing Day match and have to wait until 4:30pm the following day to get down to business.

But, it should be a feisty affair for the City Ground attendees and those watching at home as both sides have enjoyed positive December results to date.

Leeds have taken 10 points from a possible 12 during the month, grinding out a 1-0 home victory against 10-man Preston North End last time out thanks to an own goal by Alan Browne.

That pushed them back above Nottingham Forest in the table after the Reds' victory over MK Dons the day before.

Both sides have similar records, with 7 wins apiece in the Championship this season and 22 goals scored in their 22 matches to date.
