Megson: Fingers crossed

Kris Commons second-half winner gave Forest a 1-0 win and means they are now four points behind Crewe and Brighton with two games left to play.

Megson said afterwards: "We have to go to QPR and give it our best shot and hope we get the result we need.

"Then we have to keep our fingers crossed with regard to how other teams fare. That is the situation we are in.

"Some people might argue that QPR have nothing left to play for this season but it's their last home game of the season and they won't want to lose it."
