Megson: Miracle needed

Forest were soundly beaten by Plymouth Argyle at the City Ground by three goals to nil to leave them with one foot in League One for next season.

Despite making changes after Wednesday's abject display against Coventry, the Reds were never in with a chance of winning the game and Megson said afterwards: "We threw the kids in and it didn't work but it's senior players who got us into this position because we're not second bottom for no reason.

"It's going from bad to worse and it was excruciating to be involved today.

"As it stands at the moment, everything we've got is nowhere near good enough. We are going to need a miracle."
