No excuses: Barlow

Three second-half goals made it another miserable awayday for the Reds and left them just four points above the relegation zone in League One.

Assistant manager Frank Barlow faced the press afterwards and said: "Disappointment doesn't come near it - the second half in particular was really disappointing.

"The league is really tight at the moment - you lose one game and you are looking at the bottom four, and we don't want to get dragged into that.

"But the top six isn't out of the question for us, and the sooner we get some points the better."
