Northampton not expecting player departures

Calderwood left Northampton last week to take over at Nottingham Forest and is likely to be linked with some of his former players.

"We're trying to talk to our players and say look, carry on this progress," Cobblers general manager Tony Clarke told BBC Radio Northampton.

"It's still going to be a pretty good place to be around. I think we'll hold on to those that would have stayed.

"I don't think there'd be too much difference in terms of those that see this as a reason for them not to sign."
