Nottm Forest V Blackpool at The City Ground - Match Preview

Vaughan added to Reds squad

David Vaughan will go straight into the Nottingham Forest squad against his former club Blackpool.

Vaughan, a former Tangerines loanee, joined the Reds on loan on Thursday and bolsters boss Billy Davies' already healthy options in midfield. Davies faces a dilemma over whether to start with the Wales international.

The Scot must also decide whether to hand another start to 19-year-old defender Jamaal Lascelles and the versatile Chilean Gonzalo Jara after the pair impressed in the defeat to Yeovil last weekend.

The likes of Dan Harding, Jamie Mackie, Greg Halford, Jamie Paterson, Matt Derbyshire and Djamel Abdoun were all on the bench at Huish Park and are also options for Davies.

Blackpool will have as many as six absentees from their playing squad when they make the trip.

Already missing their manager Paul Ince as he serves the third game of a five-match stadium ban, the Seasiders find themselves depleted on the playing side due to one suspension and five injuries.

Jack Robinson was dismissed against Blackburn last Saturday in a fiery affair which has since led to both teams being charged by the FA, and the Liverpool loanee will miss the next four games after picking up his second red card of the season.

Although on-loan Bradley Orr returns after being unavailable against his parent club Rovers, Chris Basham (ankle), Bob Harris (shoulder), Barry Ferguson (ankle), Isaiah Osbourne (ankle) and Craig Cathcart (knee) are all sidelined.
