Lee Peltier is expected to be added to the Nottingham Forest squad for the visit of Charlton as they begin life after Billy Davies.
Peltier, largely a right-back but comfortable playing anywhere along the back line, has moved to the City Ground on loan from Leeds on a deal until the end of the season.
Forest are not thought to have any new injury problems following the 5-0 defeat at Derby on Saturday which spelt the end of Davies' tenure as manager
Defenders Eric Lichaj (hernia), Kelvin Wilson (back) and Jack Hobbs (ankle) and midfielders Henri Lansbury (back), David Vaughan (knee) and Andy Reid (hernia) remain unavailable, although Lansbury is back in training and nearing a return.
