Williamson said afterwards: "We've got to be delighted with that because everything went according to plan.
"We scored an early goal and that was our aim because I saw Forest lose 2-0 at Coventry midweek when their fans got quite disillusioned.
"We thought if we got in front early on their fans would get disillusioned again but to be fair, they stuck by their team until the second goal.
"Although the Forest players tried their best, they were not up to it.
"Forest weren't terribly bad but we played as well as we could do and I'm pleased for our fans."
