Ian Breckin still leads the way followed by Nathan Tyson - but Nicky Southall also has his fans as does Kris Commons.

Here are some of the reasons people gave for their nominations.

'Gotta be Neville, sorry Nicky Southall. Most consistent player and most assists of any non-premiership player. Also gives 100% everytime' - from Glyn Underwood.

'Nicky Southall, consistent all season. 7 goals and countless assists!' - from Ally Barron.

'Player of year for me has to be Ian Breckin. He is a captain who leads by example and with right management is showing his qualities. Scores goals scored as well as stopping them.' - from Stuart Birley.

It's a close one. Tyson has been superb since his arrival, and Southall has been consistent all season, but for me Player of the Season has to be the skipper Ian Breckin. Solid at the back, top scorer and leads the team well!' - from Marc Thivessen.

'Ian Breckin for player of the season without a doubt. He's stood head and shoulders above the rest, in what has been a difficult season for the trees and to score 8 goals from the back is an amazing feat. He's simply been Mr consistent from the start!!!' - from Lewis Bingham.

'Commons for player of the year, the time he has been fit, he has been outstanding.' - from Jonathan Aldworth.
