Reds set to end Barker chase

Cardiff have rejected Forest's offer for the 25-year-old defender and chief executive Mark Arthur confirmed to the club website today that the Bluebirds have said that they do not wish to sell despite their current financial problems.

Megson has already sealed deals for Nicky Eaden, Gary Holt and Nicky Southall but wants more new faces before the start of the season.
