Colin Calderwood, who once again signalled his intention to fight on as Nottingham Forest manager after the 0-0 draw, said: "Because of some fine keeping and missed chances we settle for a point."

Opposite number Simon Grayson commented: "He was busier than he has been a lot of times away this season and at the end we were thankful to him for making some fantastic saves."

The Reds are currently four points adrift of safety but Calderwood added: "The belief is very strong that we will get out of it and after performances like that I don't think anyone can disagree.

"We did everything but score and I think you can see that there is a great spirit among the players."
